The OWL EYE® Volume Flow module measures volume flows in m³/h using a 2D LiDAR sensor, which is mounted 0.5-1.5 m above the conveyor belt. Multiplicating the detected contour of the bulk goods with the belt speed, the throughput is calculated precisely.
Furthermore different sensor options can be chosen, depending on the belt speed and accuracy requirements.
Since the measurement is completely contactless, the OWL EYE® Volume Flow module requires little maintenance and can be seamlessly integrated via OPC UA or analogue signal.
