Compact 3D-LiDAR with full 360° × 59° field of view. 70 m range, 200 000 points/second, 905 nm Class-1 eye-safe, IP67. The reference sensor for mobile mapping, robotics SLAM and indoor stockpile capture — deployed across OWL EYE® installations since 2023.
The Livox Mid-360S is a compact 360° × 59° 3D-LiDAR sensor with 70 m range, 200 000 points/second sampling rate and 905 nm Class-1 eye-safe laser emission. IP67-rated for outdoor industrial deployment.
The Mid-360S replaces multi-sensor clusters in many applications. Its spherical scan pattern — 360° horizontal, 59° vertical — covers everything around the mount point with a single device. Built-in 6-axis IMU enables onboard SLAM and motion compensation; native ROS/ROS2 drivers and SDK support get you to a first registered point cloud within minutes.
We deploy the Mid-360S across OWL EYE® installations whenever a single compact unit needs to cover wide angles — handheld mapping rigs, wheel-loader navigation systems, indoor bunker monitoring from the lid, mobile-robot platforms. See Mobile Mapping and Bunkers & Feeders for live integration examples.
The Mid-360S is the direct successor to the Livox Mid-360 — same mounting interface, same scanning pattern. If you know the Mid-360, you are already up to speed: same driver stack (SDK 2, livox_ros_driver2), same brackets — existing Mid-360 integrations keep running unchanged.

Documentation: Livox Mid-360S User Manual (PDF)
Deployed in 12+ OWL EYE® mobile-mapping and bunker-monitoring rigs across Europe.
Manufacturer specifications from the Livox Mid-360S user manual. We test every unit on arrival and pair it with calibration documentation for your mount geometry on request.
Single-sensor solutions where coverage matters more than range — mobile platforms, indoor mapping, robotics, lid-mounted bunker scans.
For long-range outdoor surveying, see the Livox Avia (450 m range, triple-return); for maximum vertical coverage at short range, the Hesai JT128 (360° × 189°).
We deploy the Mid-360S in our own OWL EYE® systems — every unit we resell has been validated against the same calibration workflow we use in production. Sensors ship from our German warehouse, on invoice to commercial customers across the EU.
Every order ships with a one-page mounting + calibration brief from our own installations — pitfalls, IMU alignment tips, recommended ROS/ROS2 driver versions. Information not in the manufacturer's manual.
Native Livox SDK 2, livox_ros_driver2, point-cloud format documented. We help you to a first registered cloud — included in the unit price, no consulting upsell.
Quick purchase via our sibling shop livoxtech.de — German invoice, EU shipping, stock typically 1–3 weeks.
